Maison Georgette: little stars and little dots

I fell for this sweet brand called Maison Georgette. The name sounds very French, old-fashioned (in a good way) and authentic. I have in mind the image of a sewing workshop in the 50s and ladies with pinned curls chatting.

They design home accessories (cushions, bags, linen...), clothes for kids and women.
How cute are these little stars and dots in neon pink and red?

I bought two purses made by Maison Georgette from Bonton for my baby girls.

Art bits #2: Irish painter Sinead Ni Mhaonaigh

"Rare is to see paint being worked so sensually and yet often so brutally"  K. Kavanagh.
"Il est rare de voir la matière travaillée avec tant de sensualité et quelquefois tant de brutalité".

Three paintings by Irish painter Sinead Ni Mhaonaigh, a visual artist born in 1977 and based in Dublin.

I love:
- the use of colours and the mix: tragic black + poetical pink, beige, green
- visible brush strokes
- her black dots
- her composition
